Team 18

At the beginning of 2023, we were approached by race engineer Manuel from Team 18 who requested the manufacture of our Jinx Shifters gear knob to be tested and used in their new Gen 3 Super car.

Working together we were able to create a custom Jinx Shifters CNC machined gear knob specifically for the use of the teams racing.

Our polyurethane grip gear knob was found suitable as it met the fire rating specifications required for safety purposes.  It's made from a fire retardant elastomer shipped in specifically from the United States of America.

After being tested then utilised in the first race of the 2023 season - the thrifty Newcastle 500; the Jinx Shifters Polyurethane rubber grip gear knob passed the test!
